Regional Health Concussion Care Team
Regional Health’s Concussion team integrates care between multiple disciplines in caring for athletes, workers and all members of the communities we serve that incur head trauma leading to traumatic brain injury/concussion.
Our concussion team is comprised of a medical director, specialists in primary care, physical medicine and rehabilitation, and Sports medicine in addition to neurologists, neurosurgeons, physical therapists, certified athletic trainers, neuropsychologists and emergency and urgent care providers.
Our goal is to provide a comprehensive and coordinated team approach to help you or your family member receive access to the best concussion care in the region.
Regional Health Concussion Diagnosis and Treatment
The experts at Regional Health use a dedicated evidence-based care pathway, advanced technology, neurocognitive testing, and evidence-based medicine to properly diagnose and treat traumatic brain injuries and concussions.
We will work with you and your family to determine the most appropriate treatment and advise you how to best recover from your brain injury and avoid future concussions.
ImPACT Certified Program
Regional Health is proud to partner with ImPACT (immediate post concussion assessment and cognitive testing) to help aid our providers in monitoring, testing, treating concussion.
ImPACT is the only FDA approved concussion assessment tool for ages 5 through 59. It allows Regional Health Athletic Trainers, Sports Medicine specialists, and ImPACT trained providers to properly aid our youth, high school and collegiate sports programs as well as our community patients in post concussion evaluation and treatment.
