Second annual First Responders Appreciation Event set for Sept. 7

RAPID CITY, S.D. (Aug. 26, 2019) – Monument Health is proud to honor our local emergency teams at our second annual First Responders Appreciation Event. Join us for a full day of activities at Memorial Park in Rapid City on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2019, from 8 a.m. to 1 p .m.

The event will offer an obstacle course that depicts a day in the life of a First Responder. The obstacle course includes CPR dummy compressions, a climbing wall, a fire hose pull, a rope bag toss, a nerf gun shooting range and a backboard team finish. Those wishing to participate must sign up as a five-person team by Sept. 6. Registration forms can be found by going to www.regionalhealth.org/obstacle.

This family event is open to the public and includes a 5K run/walk, educational booths, kids zone, live entertainment and food trucks.
