Regional Health Celebrates Addition of Urgent Care Services on March 1

DEADWOOD, S.D. (Feb. 27, 2017) – Lead-Deadwood community members are invited to attend a ribbon cutting ceremony, with refreshments to follow, at 2 p.m. on March 1 to celebrate the launch of Urgent Care services at Lead-Deadwood Regional Medical Clinic, located at 71 Charles St.
This marks the first day of a new local option for Urgent Care services backed by the high-quality, comprehensive abilities of Regional Health. Available five days a week, the Urgent Care service hours will be 7 to 11 a.m. on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and from 1 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday. Walk-ins are welcome.
“Having the ability to provide our community with Urgent Care services exemplifies the commitment that our physicians and caregivers have to our patients and families in Lead-Deadwood,” said Lead-Deadwood Regional Medical Clinic Director Traci Matthew.
Urgent Care services include treatment for illnesses and conditions including abscesses, asthma, coughs, fever, minor burns and sinus infections. Also treated are simple fractures, lacerations, and sprains.
