Regional Health Rehabilitation provides nursing care 365 days a year. Our inpatient unit is the only Joint Commission accredited facility in the region. Regional Health Rehabilitation also provides comprehensive outpatient services including, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Pathology and Audiology as well as Pain Management, Neuropsychology, Industrial Rehabilitation and Wound Care.
The professionals at Regional Health Rehabilitation offer comprehensive inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services to people of all ages who are recovering from an illness, injury or life-long health condition.
The inpatient facility is a licensed 16-bed institute. Patients are provided with 24-hour nursing care from various levels (RN, LPN, CNA) with a majority of the registered nurses being CRRN certified (specially trained in rehabilitation services).

Qualifying for Inpatient Treatment
In order to qualify for treatment as an inpatient, the patient must be able to participate in three hours of multidisciplinary therapies and 60% of our total admissions must have one of the following diagnoses:
- Spinal cord injury
- Congenital deformity
- Major multiple trauma
- Femur fracture (hip fracture)
- Brain injury
- Neurological disorders
- Active polyarticular rheumatoid arthritis
- Systemic vasculidities with joint inflammation
- Bilateral joint replacement
- Severe or advanced osteoarthritis

The Inpatient Regional Health Rehabilitation Center unit is located in the newly built Village at Skyline Pines Assisted Living Facility at 1050 Fairmont Boulevard, Rapid City, SD 57701. The modern new space will feature 16 private rooms and a therapy gym.
Outpatient services through Regional Health Rehabilitation Institute are provided for patients of all ages. We work closely with our patients and familes to set and meet rehabilitative goals through evaluation, treatment, education, patient and family teaching, provision of specialized exercise programs and follow-up care.
