A free service, facilitated by lactation consultants to provide breastfeeding support to women during postpartum. A lactation nurse is present at all group meetings. The 30th Anniversary Great Black Hills Duck Race is set for Sunday, July 28. However, the fast-moving waters of Rapid Creek have forced organizers to turn this year’s Children’s Miracle Network fundraiser into a dryland duck race. This one-day class (9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.) is designed for the busy, expectant family. Mothers and their support person(s) are encouraged to attend this class during the seventh or eighth month of pregnancy. Questions will be answered regarding the process of labor, delivery and what happens after. The class includes a tour of our birthing suites.
