Since 1995, the Don't Thump Your Melon program has been a joint venture of the Regional Health Foundation, and the Rapid City Regional Hospital Auxiliary.
The Don't Thump Your Melon Program provides helmets to those in need, proper fitting of helmets, and bicycle safety education.
“If even one brain injury for a child or young adult is prevented in our community, then our efforts are worthwhile as we continue to support our purpose of helping patients and communities live well,” said Alexa Stulken, Children’s Miracle Network Regional Program Coordinator, Regional Health Foundation.
